Gregg Rozeboom - March 19, 2009
I first met Michael Pearl in my late teens at a two week Bible study that he was putting on for young men.  Before that time I had never heard the Bible taught verse by verse. When he taught Romans my eyes were opened to many of the basic truths and doctrines of Christianity, and I clearly understood my salvation in Christ.

In the beginning of those two weeks Mike strongly encouraged us not believe what he taught without following the example of the Bereans - “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”

After the two week Bible study I had the opportunity to teach young men and their fathers the book of Romans in a weekly Bible study.  I spent time studying out the book in my preparation to teach it, and I understood many of the truths in a much deeper way.  Many of the young men in the Bible study testified that they understood salvation much clearer from the study.
